Thank you for 5 million Downloads
Last month we achieved an important goal with Antispam Bee on WordPress.org. The plugin has now been downloaded more than five million times and is currently running on more than 700,000 websites. We want to take this opportunity to say thank you.

First of all, we have to thank Sergej Müller. Without his initiative, brilliant ideas, and countless invested hours, Antispam Bee would not exist today.
We also have to thank the original members of the Pluginkollektiv. They braved the superhuman task of taking over Sergej’s plugins six years ago. Because of them, Antispam Bee and other plugins are still available and are under active development today. Benefitting users from all over the world.
Many thanks to all who have contributed to the project in various ways over the past years. Be it issues on GitHub, answering support questions in the forum, or writing translations or reviews on wordpress.org.
And of course, many thanks to all users who have put their trust in us and our plugins over the past years!

While we are diligently working on the subsequent five million downloads and already have some ideas on the roadmap, we are curious about your ideas and wishes. What feature is currently missing in Antispam Bee? What would you like to see in the future, and what bothers you?

To this day, it’s incomprehensible how Sergej was able to maintain and develop all of his plugins on his own. The Pluginkollektiv, a group of WordPress people who invest a lot of their spare time, is chronically understaffed. You are more than welcome to help if you know plugin development, translation, support, or design and would like to contribute to Antispam Bee or one of our other plugins.
If you are not involved in any of these topics or don’t have the time to contribute, you might be able to help us in another way: write a review on WordPress.org. Unlike many other plugins, Antispam Bee never asks for a review after the installation. Nevertheless, reviews help future users and our team.
